SUPER POWERS: Can teleport matter (including himself) by sending it through a Darkforce gateway accessed via his Darkforce suit.
ORIGIN: While test piloting a top secret Air Force space shuttle, Peter accidentally broke through into warp space and was sent barreling out-of-control across the galaxy. His ship was sucked into the gravity of a blackhole. The ship crash-landed on a mystical planet at the heart of the blackhole. Peter was amazed that the intense gravity of the crash had not killed him, and found himself to be in an ancient land beyond the laws of science. Peter discovered the Darkforce teleportation machine among the ruins of a long-dead civilization and was able to access it with the strange fabric of the Darkforce suit. Peter used this ability to return home and discovered he had a psi-link with the Darkforce suit.
HISTORY: Darkforce joined Heroes, Inc. several years ago. He once accidentally betrayed the team when his girlfriend Candice turned out to be the evil Countess, who used her insider position to blackmail the team based on her knowledge of their identities. Unbeknownst to the team, Darkforce married the Countess while she was in exile on a government island. When she escaped her prison, Darkforce chose to hide his fugitive wife in the Darkforce universe. However, the Countess recently fled the Dark Dome and gave a tell-all interview to a major magazine. (Issue #12). Unbeknownst to Darkforce, the Countess has reformed the Destroyers and has launched a new attack against GHI (issues 14-15).
KNOWN RELATIVES: Candice DuMornay-Prescott (The Countess) - wife, Nathan Prescott (Darkstrike) - son from the future, Jacob Prescott (Combustion) - son from the future.
