SUPER POWERS: Ability to project a beam or field of gravity modification. Can increase or decrease the gravity around any given object (including himself).
ORIGIN: Guy came into the possesion of two gravity belts when his company unearthed the ruins of what is believed to be an alien spaceship. Guy became a media superstar and was dubbed ‘Gravity Guy’ by the press, appearing on such TV shows as ‘Celebrity Password’, ‘Circus of the Stars’ and the ‘Carson Jones’ evening show. Sadly, this media attention resulted in the abduction of his wife Adele and infant daughter Gail by extortionists. Guy used his powers to save Gail, but was unable to prevent the murder of Adele. Grief-stricken, Guy vowed to only use his powers in the pursuit of justice and became the world’s first costumed hero.
HISTORY: Gravity Guy was one of the founding members of Galaxy Heroes, Inc., where he served many years, including a term as the first leader. Later, he was lost in the Sound Dimension along with several other members. There, he recently married Leeza Smith (aka Sentry I), prior to returning home (see issue #5). Guy and Leeza have opted not to return to active duty, and are currently on an extended honeymoon cruise around the world.
