SUPER POWERS: Low-level transmutation, primarily used for molecular breakdown and disintegration. Kara also utilizes this power to create a wave of air to simulate flying.
ORIGIN: While exploring the ruins of an ancient Mayan temple, archaeology student Karen Ann Stephenson unwittingly translated an incantation that sucked her into the netherworld of the vile demon, Cthon. The demon made her his concubine, and after several months, Karen discovered she had absorbed some of his power. Using this power, she was able to escape the vile dimension and return to Earth. This passage cost Karen her memory, but she retained her powers.
HISTORY: Nuclear Witch joined Heroes, Inc. several years ago as she searched for her past... which they helped her discover. She was formerly engaged to the now-deceased Heroes, Inc. member, Stargazer (a.k.a. Austin Davids). Recently, Kara learned through a repressed memory that she may have murdered Austin herself, while brainwashed by the witch Lotira. (See issue #6).
