SUPER POWERS: Ability to project bright intense light, which can be focused to create laser-like raybeams.
ORIGIN: After helping a stranded alien, a teenage Janice and her friend, Kirk Collins, were rewarded with super-powered gloves. Outraged at the fear and prejudice they saw in their encounter with the alien, they adopted the crime-fighting identities of Prism and Nightshadow.
HISTORY: Prism joined Galaxy Heroes at the same time as several sidekicks of the founding members. She served active duty for several years, and later resigned for personal reasons. She is leading a quiet suburban life with her husband Benjamin Fong and their children, Melissa and Aaron, when recently she was pulled back into the hero life. In an attempted coup against Galaxy Heroes, Prism was taken hostage by the Destroyers and Ben was murdered by Electrode II (Issue #14). Also, her long ago reason for leaving GHI may soon come back to haunt her. (See upcoming issues #16).
