SUPER POWERS: Enhanced strength, speed, and endurance; limited flight (really long-range jumping).
ORIGIN: Sentry comes from the secret nation of Arcadia, located under the polar icecap of Antarctica. Arcadia is a technologically advanced female-dominated society that was isolated from the rest of the planet eons ago. When nuclear testing in the late 1950’s threatened the security of arcadia, agents were sent to all quadrants of the world to monitor man’s activities. Leeza was the first publicly recognized Sentry, after her involvement in GHI’s first adventure.
HISTORY: Leeza was the first Arcadian agent assigned to America, where she adopted the secret identity of Leeza Smith. She helped found Galaxy Heroes, Inc., where she served many years, including several as team leader. In 1990, she was lost in battle in the Sounmd Dimension, and was replaced on the team by her Arcadian gene-sister Liana Smith (the East Coast Sentry of the Mighty Maulers). While in the Sound Dimension, Leeza married Guy Maharis (aka Gravity Guy). They have now returned home and are currently on an extended honeymoon cruise around the world.
