SUPER POWERS: Can generate intense rays of heat, fire, and light. Can fly and is also impervious to extreme temperatures.
ORIGIN: As a teenager, Trevor discovered that his father Richard Blaine was able to turn into "SunGod" (one of the original members) through use of two power bracelets. Trevor attempted to re-create these bracelets and succeeded... although unbeknownst to him, the Sun spirits who gave Richard Blaine his powers had modified Trevor's bracelets to allow him to succeed. Trevor adopted the name Sunbeam and became his father's sidekick.
HISTORY: Trevor joined Heroes, Inc. as Sunbeam, at the same time as several other sidekicks of the original five members. When the first SunGod evolved to a higher state of being, Sunbeam adopted the name SunGod. Trevor was engaged to Gravity Girl (a.k.a. Gail Maharis), however when her true love Nightshadow returned from the dead, she broke off the engagement (see issue #7). Because of this, Sun God bore deep resentment towards Nightshadow, and eventually battled him over Gravity Girl (issue 11). When Gravity Girl anounced that her true love would always be Nightshadow, Sun God chose to leave the team. Trevor was recently pulled back into GHI activities when he was taken hostage by the Destroyers (issue #14).
